Experience
I have tutored primarily in various aspects of Biology and history. I have experience helping students with minor to moderate learning disabilities. Many of my skills regarding LD come from my own personal experiences coping with LDs. I also have help numerous international friends with their english language skills, including speaking, writing and reading. My undergraduate biology degree was focused on genetics. At Creighton University I worked as an independent directed student researcher within the genetics department. My research pertained to understanding the evolution of the RNase A superfamily within living mammals. The culmination of my research includes presenting at an international biology and evolution conference, receiving an undergraduate award for my research, and a final manuscript due to be publish by the end of this academic year. I also have experience working in healthcare both clinical and corporate.
