Master's Degree in Creative Writing, and a Bachelor's in Psychology, minor in Anthropology/Sociology. Studied Child Development in Denmark in 2015. Worked in the Language and Cognitive Development Lab and the Baby Lab at UCLA. Currently applying to graduate schools in order to gain my PhD in peer relationships in an educational system.
Experience
I'm a tutor of math, science, reading, writing, English, French, Japanese, and general organization and study skills for students between the ages of 6 and 19. My SAT and ACT scores were above average; successful AP scores for two English courses. I am currently working in two labs at UCLA during my school breaks. In the past I have taught English in Danish schools in Copenhagen, and I have been a counselor for a summer day camp. I work a lot with people and assisting them to succeed. I love the process of working hard and achieving goals. :) The most helpful method of learning, I believe is through activities such as games and audibly repeating sentences from sources such as movies and television. This way learning is neither boring nor slow, because it can easily be applied to daily life.
