Experience
Hello! Let me first introduce myself by listing my experience. I am a physics and astronomy professor at a local community college. Before this, I taught physics and mathematics at UC Irvine for two years, while earning my PhD in physics. I also have tutored students in mathematics and physics (primarily mathematics) for the past 11 years. I currently teach SAT / ACT prep classes at two companies in Orange County. You will find me to be a polite, experienced, and very professional tutor for your child. Please feel free to ask for my student reviews from my years teaching at UC Irvine. I really enjoy education, and my student reviews reflected that! My own mathematics training goes up to quantum field theory. As far as tutoring, I would prefer to not revisit quantum field theory ha! But I am comfortable tutoring any subject under QFT (calculus, calculus, algebra, trigonometry, etc). Send me a message if you are looking for a friendly tutor who knows how to pace the speed of lessons based on the rate at which the student learns, who prepares properly beforehand, and has a track record of improving students understanding and test scores. Hope to hear from you soon!
