I studied Mathematics Education for four years at Temple University and possess a passion to help struggling students excel in Mathematics. During my studies, I have volunteered to provide one-on-one tutoring to middle grade students at KIPP Charter School in Philadelphia. I also volunteered as an assistant in the classroom at Coogee Bay Public School in Australia to help struggling students at the elementary level. I have field experience working and developing lesson plans for students at various schools in the Philadelphia area including Kensington Health and Sciences Academy, Carver High School of Engineering and Science, Wakisha Charter School. Over the past three months I taught diverse classes of Algebra 2 students at George Washington High School in Philadelphia integrating differentiated instruction, active learning and cooperative learning to students of all learning levels. Furthermore, over the past year I privately tutored a student in need to Algebra assistance.
