I am a teaching associate at CSU Long Beach where I have taught the laboratory sections of Marine Biology and Biostatistics. As a TA I get the most excited about teaching when I see students understand new concepts or view difficult subjects in a new light. I am very comfortable explaining mathematically based concepts. I have always scored well in math classes starting high school where I passed both Statistics AP (4) and the Calculus AP (5) tests. I continued excelling in math based science courses like Physics and Biostatistics in college. I think this is due in part to having a father who is an engineer and brother who is a high school math teacher, I have been immersed in math my whole life.
